JUSTIN TIME: Justin Lester has won two World bronze medals and made five U.S. World Teams, but he has never wrestled in the Olympics. That will change when Lester challenges for an Olympic medal this summer in London.
CURBY CUP: World bronze medalist Justin Ruiz capped his career with a pin in the U.S. dual with Georgia in the Curby Cup. Ruiz made six U.S. World Teams. Justin Lester and Ben Provisor also earned wins over Georgia.
TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE: Art Martori’s Sunkist Kids wrestling club has supported some of the best wrestlers in American history, including Olympic champions John Smith, Cael Sanderson, Rulon Gardner and Dave Schultz.
GREAT SCOTT: Coleman Scott won the Olympic Wrestle-Off, downing past World Team members Reece Humphrey and Shawn Bunch in New York City to make the U.S. Olympic Team at 60 kg/132 lbs. in freestyle wrestling.
OLYMPIC GAMES PREVIEW: World champions Jordan Burroughs, Dremiel Byers and Clarissa Chun lead the way as a strong U.S. wrestling squad prepares to compete at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England.
