OLIVER HUNTEMANN ‘TASMANIAN TIGER’ IDEAL AUDIO

CONSIDERING some of the frankly scary techno beats/beasts that he’s unleashed in the past, German producer and DJ Oliver Huntemann’s choice of the name ‘Paranoia’ for his recent album was most apt. Out this week, his brand new EP features ‘Tasmanian Tiger’ on the a-side, a track awash with pulsing bass and off-key atmospherics perfect for scaring

small children, should any small children have got into a sweaty techno rave or spent their day at the techno creche. If you like what you hear then check out ‘PLAY! 04 Live in Melbourne’, a double CD of Huntemann making grown men openly weep with fear from when he played at Club Roxanne Parlour in March earlier this year.
