Guide Bar Maintenance


ATTENTION: DEALERS, CHAIN SAW USERS, AND ANYONE WHO SERVICES SAW CHAIN. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION.


Warning


Always turn off your chain saw’s engine before handling the guide bar. Failure to do so can result in severe injury.


For proper mounting of your guide bar, refer to the operator’s manual for your chain saw.


Note: • Never use guide bar as a lever to lift, twist, or pry. • A guide bar requires constant supply of oil during operation.


Basic Guide Bar Maintenance Tasks s Before each use

5. l Turn nose sprocket while pumping grease until whole sprocket has new grease. Do not push dirt into the hole.
