Member Nogueira elected 14th President of ECSB
The Corporate Board of East Cambridge Savings Bank elected Gilda M. Nogueira President at the Bank’s annual meeting on March 26. Nogueira also serves as the Bank’s Chief Operating Officer. Nogueira has more than 34 years of banking experience. She joined the Bank in 1977 and has held various positions, including assistant vice president, vice pres- ident of operations, senior vice president & senior operations officer and executive vice president.


CHA selects new chief executive officer
The Cambridge Health Alliance Board of Trustees se-lected Patrick Wardell as the new CEO of the CHA. He assumed the position in March. Mr. Wardell previously served as President & CEO at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Throughout the selection process, he impressed the Board with his broad knowledge and understanding of safety net institutions and population health and how to position health systems like CHA amid na- tional and local ealth care reform to improve, innovate, and modernize how care is provided to patients.

On Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 9 to 10 a.m., the City of Cambridge will present a free Business Demographics Workshop at Cambridge City Hall Annex, 344 Broadway. Understanding your market and customer base is a key ingredient to every stage of your business. City staff will give an overview of the Cambridge population and commercial districts.
