Airport Meet and Greet Heathrow Airport only


On 25 September 2012 there will be a meet and greet service for new students which is currently only available from Heathrow Airport. If you are arriving at a different airport, please contact c.savva@mdx.ac.uk for directions to halls of residence. The airport meeting service is provided for new students who will be living in a hall of residence and who are attending the ‘Welcome to Middlesex’ orientation programme. Please note accompanying guests must make their own travel arrangements.


If you wish to be met at London Heathrow Airport and taken to your hall of residence or campus, please complete the application form and return it to the address provided. The airport meeting services operates at all terminals at Heathrow Airport, and is available for flights scheduled to arrive up to 9pm.


Please note you may have to wait at the airport for other flights to arrive. Travelling time from the airport to halls is normally 2 to 3 hours. If you are applying for the ‘Welcome to Middlesex’ orientation programme and living off-campus, you will need to make your own way to your base campus at the start of the programme.


Accommodation


• Students living in halls of residence – if you have accepted the offer of a room in one of Middlesex University’s halls of residence, this is where you should report on arrival for the ‘Welcome to Middlesex’ orientation programme. Please ensure that you have accepted your offer of a room before you leave to travel to the


UK. If you are unsure if your acceptance has been received by the MDX Accommodation Team please email accomm@mdx.ac.uk


• Students not living in halls of residence – if you have chosen to live in private rented accommodation outside the University, you must make sure that this accommodation is available from the day of your arrival in the UK. It is important that you do not arrive at Middlesex without having arranged for somewhere to stay, at least for your first few nights, as the University is not able to provide temporary accommodation.
