India 27 March: Naxalite rebels killed at least 16 soldiers by triggering a landmine blast in Maharashtra.


India 22 March:


At least one person was killed and 20 others were wounded in car bomb blast in Indian-controlled Kashmir.


Pakistan 2 March: At least 23 people were killed when a suicide blast occurred near a mosque in Pakistan's northwestern tribal area of Khyber Agency.


Thailand 31 March: Three co-ordinated bomb attacks in the south of the country killed 13 people and injured 300.


MIDDLE EAST Yemen 1 April:


al-Qaeda suspects killed seven police officers in an attack on a checkpoint in the southeast of the country.
