While at WMC, we took the opportunity to catch up with Wolfgang Gartner, the man responsible for taking electro-house to stadium-sized levels, who rocked Ultra Music Festival (as well as releasing his debut album ‘Weekend In America’ on Ultra’s label last year) and alongside Skrillex and Deadmau5 is arguably the biggest force to be reckoned with in EDM right now. He revealed to us his trans-atlantic alliance with Tiësto, the Dutch DJ who topped DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll three times in a row, who’s currently taking his trance and electro


sound to thousands of clubbers in Vegas and has previously collaborated with Diplo and Busta Rhymes for ‘C’mon (Catch Em By Surprise)’.


Last week, we got our fi rst taster of the track, which features Luciana on vocals, and it’s predictably large. Released on Tiësto’s ‘Club Life Vol. 2: Miami’, it’s built around a hook that’s baited for mass club crowds, no doubt reeling in punters from LA to Ibiza this summer.
