THE BOOK CLUB COMMUNITY BUILT
One goal of hybrid events is to create an engaged online community—and the digital extension of PCMA 2012 Convening Leaders hit it out of the park, said Lynn Randall, managing director of Randall Insights, and a social- media moderator for virtual broadcasts held both during and after the meeting. During the Jan. 26 rebroadcast of meeting sessions from Convening Lead- ers, participants spontaneously hatched a plan for an online book club, to continue to discuss conference content. First up: speaker John Medina’s Brain Rules. The online book club is open to everyone; register at pcma.org/bookclub.
