HEALTH+IN4MATICS is a fresh, new event; the result of research with end users, delegates and suppliers – designed to meet your needs in a comfortable, businesslike and constructive environment.
The title says exactly what the event is about, bringing together the business of managing and delivering healthcare with the world of informatics. And that is re- flected in the audience and delegate pro- files, with over 40% of signed-up delegates from clinical and general management roles. There will be something for every- one, brought to you in a practical, no-non- sense way through platform presentations, interactive sessions, informal groups and a major exhibition.
Delegates tell us that they can afford lim- ited time out of the office, so events such as this have to provide genuine value, relevant content and easy access – we have listened and have designed HEALTH+IN4MATICS 2012 to provide all this and more. With almost two-thirds of registered delegates from the C-suite and senior management, it is clear that we’re getting the mes- sage, responding to your needs, and that HEALTH+IN4MATICS 2012 is considered by many to be an event that offers real val- ue for time and money spent.
A top notch and thought provoking speak- ers programme focuses on the practical issues and includes Stephen Dorrell MP,
chair of the Health Select Committee; Dame Fiona Caldicott, chair of the Oxford Radcliffe Hospital; Dr Hilary Jones, TV doctor and broadcaster; Professor Aiden Halligan, director of education at UCLH; Mike Farrar, chief executive of the NHS Confederation, and many more who will all contribute their wealth of experience to the conference streams.
In addition supplier companies will join with their trust counterparts on the same platform in streams 2 and 3 to demonstrate and share how they have collaborated and achieved ROI and improvements to care pathways, giving you a real ‘hands on’ insight into solutions and what actually works.
The two days will be packed with a range of exciting activities summarised under the heading ‘The H+I Experience’. This range of activities underpins our aim to provide something for everybody in a vibrant and stimulating environment. In addition, the event theme focuses on the practical is- sues of ‘Doing more with less – Delivering whole systems change through collabora- tive innovation’.
To maximise your time during your visit we’ve arranged an array of opportunities for you to get involved with, beyond ‘just a conference with an exhibition’. There are practical sessions too where you par- ticipate and contribute to the debate about
ROI and the experiences presented through case studies; short 1-2-1 sessions with solu- tions providers in the ICEBREAKERS; op- portunities to bring the team to get to grips with solutions in your own private sessions; nuts and bolts insights in the Walk in Clin- ics; peer to peer meetings and networking too.
As you’d expect of a major national event, the exhibition will be populated with big name suppliers together with plenty of smaller and niche players too.
Located at The ICC, Birmingham, HEALTH+IN4MATICS 2012 is easily ac- cessible from around the country, offering a range of transport options, a choice of local overnight accommodation and lively informal networking options.
The event is free to attend and registration takes two minutes on the website where regular updates and news are posted. HEALTH+IN4MATICS 2012 supports the development of knowledge and skills, so you can record your learning and gain rec- ognition of your attendance with Your CPD.
