Assistant Coaches


Kip Turner Kip Turner, a two-time USILA All-American goalie for the University of Virginia who joined the Brown coaching staff as an assistant in 2010, was recently promoted to first assistant coach of the Brown men’s lacrosse team. A 2007 graduate of the University of Virginia, Turner was the UVA defensive MVP in 2006, leading the Cavaliers to the ACC Championship and NCAA title.

Stephen Boyle Former Johns Hopkins lacrosse All-American Steven Boyle begins his first season as an assistant coach for the Bears. He’s a three-time All-American for the Blue Jays, and played for Hopkins’ 2007 NCAA Championship team. Boyle’s focus at Brown will be working with the offensive schemes and the development of the attackmen and offensive midfielders.

Michael Brand Former Centenary College head coach Michael Brand has joined the Brown coaching staff for his first season. A native of Grand Island NY, he was the head lacrosse coach at Centenary College, as well as Caddo Magnet High School both in Shreveport Louisiana.
