Important News Government’s Green Deal is coming...
The Green Deal is a new Government Scheme being introduced from November 2012, which aims to increase the number of energy efficiency measures installed in UK homes and businesses. The main components of the scheme will be an onsite objective assessment, the installation of the measures, and a new finance mechanism.
The aim of the Green Deal is to enable householders to invest in more affordable individual or packages of energy efficiency measures.
There will be no up-front cost to the householder because the finance mechanism will recover the up-front costs from the property’s electricity bill. Moreover, under the Green Deal’s Golden Rule, the savings generated from the measures will be more than the costs.
Controls We recommend you only use the heat you need and divide your house into heating zones.
