Chevin Housing Association offers tenants a cosier low-cost future with air source heat pumps Residents in some 30 homes are looking forward to a cosier new year following the replacement of their electric storage heaters with air source heat pumps. Chevin Housing Association operates across Yorkshire, Humberside and the North Midlands, managing more than 8,000 homes, and is a member of the Together Housing Group. Its latest product innovation is a stainless steel mitred grating for use where a drainage channel is required to follow a right-angled change of direction The grating comprises laser-cut components, including mortises and tenons, that are assembled then welded to produce a strong, rigid, level and straight product. A feature of this new design is the appearance of continuous strips of metal running through the corner.
