CHASE & STATUS, the junglists-turned- electronic dance music dons known as Will Kennard and Saul Milton to their mums, have just been announced as Saturday night headliners for SW4 for the 25th August. The SW4 event takes place annually in the UK on the August bank holiday weekend on Clapham Common in the south of London.

SW4 won DJ Mag’s Best Festival award at our Best Of British awards at the end of 2011, and has cemented its place as one of the highlights in the UK festival calendar since its inception in the early noughties. This year, with an extra hour


to play with — running until 10pm for the fi rst time in their nine-year history — SW4 are giving host to their biggest line-up ever, with a further 70 acts to be announced as the weeks progress.


Chase & Status made their name in drum & bass circles before broadening out their sound and signing to a major label. Now as much known for the big room electro sounds of the likes of ‘Let You Go’, with its humorous Jeremy Kyle-style video, and the boombastic dubstep of ‘Blind Faith’ (with soul-reggae man Liam Bailey) as much as d&b, the guys have truly moved up even more
