TRICK TIP THEOTIS BEASLEY WITH TEAM RIDER DALE H. (WINDSOR, CT) ASKED TO LEARN BACKSIDE FLIPS
“When learning backside fl ips, FIRST you wanna learn how to get your backside 180’s down so you can get comfortable with your shoulders turning as the board follows your feet. I normaly put my back foot in the corner pocket of my tail and my front hanging off the board cover- ing up my 2 bottom bolts. THEN, when you feel lke you mastered a backside 180, move on and practice kickfl ips. When I do kickfl ips, I put my back foot in the left pocket and my front foot over my 2 bottom bolts. Kick out with the front foot as you ollie so the board fl ips. FINALLY, when you get those two tricks down, you can do the back 180 and fl ip in one full motion: Then it becomes a backside fl ip. Good luck!!”

Working for CCS do you ever get sent to any special events like the Dew Tour or Street League?
A JESSE BAXTER ( VENTURA MANAGER)
Not the Dew Tour but I did get to work the Converse Coastal Carnage event. It was pretty sick kickin it with the pros and hanging out at the beach everyday with good people, good scenery, and good shredding for 14 days!!!

Maybe a manual on the deck. I need to learn inverts, and switch back tails would be nice. Yeah, that’s the fi rst thing that comes to mind. I love a good manual on a miniramp. It’s classy.
