Exhibitor Highlights Catering Equipment


A warewashing revolution is set to take place with the introduction of Hobart’s (N1850) latest Premax range, featuring advanced patented technologies to meet the customers demanding requirements. The company claims that if


the estimated 30,000 flight-type dishwashers in use across Europe were upgraded to the Premax standard, the power savings could provide energy for a city of one million people, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 500,000 tons every year!


Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances (GDPA) (N1669) is set to launch several new and exciting products from its brands, Burco and Lec Commercial. Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to win a catering fridge worth £500 from Lec Commercial’s new ‘Platinum’ refrigeration range during each day of the show. Being paraded for the first time is the new line-up of Platinum catering refrigeration that has been designed and named to commemorate 70 years of Lec refrigeration manufacture. This is being unveiled alongside a major new line-up of ‘Burco Plus’ water boilers from the best-selling Burco range.


FRIMA (N1115) will be launching the new VarioCooking Center Multificiency at the show. This high-tech piece of cooking equipment combines all the functions of a fryer, griddle, bratt pan, kettle, titling pans and


pressure cooker in one unit. It is also three times as fast and uses 40 per cent less energy, than conventional cooking appliances. Built-in intelligent cooking technology eliminates time-consuming routine chores such as constant checking, stirring and temperature adjustments. It alerts the chef when, for example, a steak needs turning or liquid needs adding to a stew.


Katerbay (N1159) will be using Hotelympia to launch the “Turbo Air” brand of refrigeration equipment. The “Turbo Air” product range, which includes upright

fridges and freezers, counter fridges and freezers, as well as pizza, prep counters and glass door drinks coolers, promises the very highest quality, reliability and real value for money.


Samsung Professional Appliances will be exhibiting Samsung’s updated range of commercial microwave ovens, as well announcing the launch of new laundry equipment, on Nisbets (N1846) stand at Hotelympia 2012. The company’s recently re-launched range of commercial microwave ovens offers higher power on key models, alongside updated controls, upgraded construction and longer warranties. The re-launched models include the new CM1079 ‘SnackMate’, Samsung’s light duty commercial model.

introductions this year are; a new and extended


choice of stain colours for wooden columns and table tops, new bases, new seats and new materials.


King of Cotton (S2320) will be showcasing its new Micro-cotton towel range. This range answers a long-standing need in the hotel trade for towels that feel bulky and yet are extraordinarily light. To achieve this, the Micro-cotton towels comprise of more ultra fine zero twisted threads of the highest possible quality cotton per loop.
