Music Week returns h ome

History comes full circle at Pensord this month with the arrival of a new title, Music Week, now published by Intent Media. Those familiar with our history will know that Pensord was set up in 1969 to produce this weekly publication!

Pensord was established in 1969 by the Billboard Company of America to produce the weekly publication Record Retailer, which later became Music Week.

Darren Coxon said: “It’s great to welcome back Music Week, and quite nostalgic to think that this title is the reason why we are all here today! We still have a very large number of people working here

who worked on Music Week originally and they, like me, are delighted!”

Stuart Dinsey from Intent Media said: “Pensord have been a partner of Intent Media for many years now. They’ve done a great job with our video games weekly MCV and we’re delighted to be bringing Music Week home to them too.”
