19 January TRANSIT THE SUEZ CANAL
Today you leave the Mediterranean by way of the Suez Canal, bound for the Red Sea. This 120-mile waterway contains no locks, allowing seawater to flow freely through the canal. As you glide closer to the Red Sea, lounge on deck and admire the African Desert to the Starboard side and the Sinai Desert to the Port side.
