Guided Walks

As you walk you’ll be able to see interesting and often rare, semi-tropical species of plants growing wild, including aloes, Madeira geraniums and Kaffir figs.

Every spring, guided walks are organised to see the fields of wild orchids that you’ll find around the island. Accredited guides offer various guided walks and in spring and autumn there are walking festivals. These provide a great opportunity to learn more about the island, providing you with insights that you might otherwise miss.

There is a range of self guided walks, including a map with five trails through St Peter Port, the town where half hidden steps and alleyways provide glimpses of a fascinating history stretching back to Medieval times. There are several publications available.
