NIGHTWAVE ‘PALENQUE’ UNKNOWN TO THE UNKNOWN


TO celebrate the release of Nightwave’s ‘Night Heat’ EP on Hot City’s Unknown to the Unknown we have the video exclusive of the haunting ‘Palenque’ taken from the EP. Is the Aztec/Mayan imagery a reference to the fact that it’s almost 2012 when the world will allegedly end? Or just the fact that Nightwave’s real name is Maya?


Probably neither, but you can read a full feature on the London-based, Slovenian-born producer (formerly known as 8Bitch) in the January issue of DJ Mag. Suffi ce to say, she’s lived an interesting life in which her talent for making moving beats is just one of many.
