INTERNATIONAL PRIZE FOR ENGINEERING


The UK Royal Academy of Engineering has introduced a new global award for engineering. The Award will recognise outstanding advances in engineering that have created significant benefit to humanity. The biennial Prize, of significant monetary value, will be awarded to an individual or team of up to three people, of any nationality, directly responsible for advancing the application of engineering knowledge.


Nominations will be accepted from the end of February 2012 until the end of July 2012. International nominations can be received from across the world. The only limitations are that self-nomination and posthumous nomination will not be permitted.
