Investing in Excellence FINANCIAL SUMMARY


For the fiscal year ended August 31, 2011, the GSB recorded $163.1 million in revenues. Aided by the strength of annual giving and executive education, revenues offset the rise in expenses that were due primarily to the move to the Knight Management Center and increased debt service. Unrestricted operating surplus will be reinvested in the endowment to ensure the long-term financial stability of the school and a restricted portion will be applied to new initiatives.
