nanotimes Companies
gly focus on helping our customers to succeed in their project and often offer help and advice. This also lets us develop more personal relationships with those who buy our products. Often, customers are willing to outsource to us some steps of their process and completely transfer prototyping to us. Though our company is expanding rapidly, we work hard to maintain our standards of customer support and will continue to do so.”
? What are your recent business highlights?
! “This summer has been very exciting for us because we have been able to hire several new staff mem- bers as well as having moved to an expanded facility which can meet both production and research and development needs. Our growing team is equipped with the credentials to maintain our standard of customer support, which has been very important to us and crucial to our success. Our expanded facility in Calverton, New York, is part of the Stony Brook University business incubator as well as strategically located near Brookhaven National Laboratories. We can continue to receive support by the Center for Functional Nanomaterials at Brookhaven National Laboratories at this location. We also now have a close proximity to our business partner, CVD Equipment Corp (NASDAQ: CVV), which helps us maintain communication and efficiency.”
? What are your current business priorities and next milestones?
! “Our current business priorities are to scale up production to meet our ever increasing demand, and to continue to offer the best and latest graphene- based products possible. There is a new demand

for graphene on dielectric substrates, of which there is no current commercial supplier. It is our current business goal to become the first commercial sup- pliers of these types of graphene wafers, which are compatible with semiconductor processing. First and foremost, however, we simply look to meet increa- sing demand while surpassing our customers’ expec- tations of customer support. With recent growth, I think we have not only maintained our standard of customer support, but actually drastically improved our abilities.”
? How do you evaluate the impact of the economic situation on your company?
! “Currently we have seen very little impact on our company based on the current economy. Also, here have been no signs that indicate that the troubled economy will have a strong impact on our sales and growth in the foreseeable future. After the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded for experimen- tation of graphene’s properties, demand has sharply increased. Companies are increasingly looking to us to supply them with graphene, and I think the reason why is that they realize the importance of staying innovative. Hopefully this trend will continue and production of graphene will help improve the worlds overall economic situation by allowing for the crea- tion of products which consumers are excited about purchasing.”
