TREASURE FINGERS, aka Ashley Jones, certainly has the Midas touch, though unfortunately we lied about the free gold. For a start the US producer has charmed labels as diverse as A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold (so there is gold of sorts) and Defected with a sound that borrows from garage, electro, disco and even good piano-led ‘ardcore as on DJmag favourite ‘It’s Love’. Then there’s the high profi le radio support lining up to play his tracks, from Annie Mac to Pete Tong, remixes of everyone from Chromeo to Groove Armada, and his ability to divine


underground precious metals by putting together and following his little fi ngers (OK, we made that last one up too).


He has a new single ‘Rooftop Revival’ out on the increasingly prolifi c Scion but this being the music biz 2011 he’s also giving away a free track, the very shapely yet comforting ‘Take My Hand’, which is available via Facebook, and a new mix on Soundcloud. Watch out too for his forthcoming collaborations with Malente, ‘Crusaders’ and ‘Au Revue’, coming out through Defected early next year.
