Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher – Construction Skills Course - 2 days


This course is designed for those who currently hold the Site Management Safety Training Scheme Certificate (SMSTS) and now wish to update their skills and knowledge in line with current legislation and require their CITB 5 day Site Management Safety Training Scheme Certificate. This course is classroom based and will be delivered locally by one of QQIs experienced trainers.


Site Supervisor’s Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) – Construction Skills Course - 2 days


This course is for first line managers - those who have, or are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities. It provides an introduction to health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. It will provide a sound knowledge base to enable them to give valuable assistance in safely managing a construction site. This course is classroom based and will be delivered locally by one of QQIs experienced trainers.


Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS) - 5 days


Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) is an introduction for those who wish to train or teach. This is a QCF recognised formal qualification that will equip learners with the necessary knowledge to deliver effective training or teaching to learners. This course is classroom based and will be delivered locally by one of QQIs experienced trainers.
