Roadshows Two years ago TAT formed the Friends of Thailand Club. A group of hotels, airlines and ground handlers who are represented in the UK. With just over 70 members, it ran its first couple of roadshows earlier this year. In 2012 they are on the road again,
this time visiting 11 cities in the UK and Ireland. With a minimum of 20 representatives on behalf of over100 Thai suppliers the roadshow consists of a workshop-style evening with great Thai food, Thai beer and a traditional Thai massage, with the chance of winning a holiday for two.

Thailand and the UK travel trade Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) celebrated 50 years of promoting tourism to Thailand last year. At the core of its success has always
