virtualisation & cloud computing Ground

to the cloud

Interoute’s strategy is based around providing customers with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and services from the ground (infrastructure and transport) to the cloud (fully managed communication, computing and connectivity services hosted within the Interoute private cloud). Interoute’s cloud strategy is based on offering a public cloud experience, but secured within a secure MPLS private network. Interoute’s unifi ed ICT focuses on creating and managing all enterprise ICT infrastructure-as-a-service. The fi rst step in unifi ed ICT was the launch of unifi ed connectivity in 2010, which changed the way enterprises and service providers buy network services. It allows businesses to have the ability to change the topology and technology (Ethernet and/or MPLS VPN) of their network as their IT plans dictate, and have access to a massively scalable integrated IT services delivery platform.

In early 2011, Interoute acquired the Visual Conference Group (VCG) to add fully managed video conferencing and telepresence services to its unifi ed communications portfolio.

The next step is the launch of Interoute’s Cloud Store, currently in beta, which will move the provisioning of all services for both enterprise and wholesale online. At the heart of this launch is Interoute’s next generation of cloud computing and storage solutions. For further information visit: www.interoute.com
