Congratulations on your catwalk debut for The Look Show! How did it feel? I was literally shaking. I didn’t have my girlies around me and they’re like my safety net. It was amazing, nerve-wracking and exciting. It was longer than an average catwalk so I kept thinking ‘please don’t trip!’ The Look Show is great for bringing the high street to the catwalk. It’s nice seeing models wearing clothes that are affordable. Did you do any preparation for your runway moment? I took a couple of lessons from a choreographer who taught me about catwalk modelling and the different walking styles. I didn’t want to look too serious, I wanted my personality to come across. We love your new copper hair colour, styled especially for the show by Toni & Guy. What prompted the change? I’ve been blonde and brunette, so I thought why not try going red? I get bored quickly with my hair. It was the perfect time for me to unveil another new look. You’ve done lots of transforming lately… I know, I guess I’m just trying to find a different side of me. That’s why I like acting, because I get to go into character and with every different hair colour I go into a different character. This look is quite twee and a bit ladylike. Does the new haircut represent your new single girl status? Maybe, maybe… How would you sum up the way you’re feeling today? Excited, a little scared. How about life in general? Excited, scared! I’m ready to take another leap. You’re turning 30 soon. What does this stage of your life mean? I’m entering a whole new chapter and it is scary. Hopefully the best is yet to come. I feel a little bit more at ease with what’s going on in my life. I know where my career’s at, I know what I want out of life. Do you now think you could up sticks and move to Hollywood? There was nothing stopping me before. I’m just going to carry on as normal, doing what I do. I love to perform and entertain whether that’s acting, singing or modelling. But surely there are fewer ties now you’re single? No, not at all. I’ve always been independent, always.
Has Cheryl’s movie role in Hollywood inspired you to take the plunge? I nearly did X-Men. I got called back three times but January Jones got the role. I don’t know if I would have been ready for it then because it’s a bit of a ‘home is where the heart is’ situation. What will be the best thing about the Girls Aloud 10th anniversary reunion next year? Just us getting back together to do the old songs, all five of us in
for it! I’ve not touched them since. Every girl reaches a certain age and wants to self-improve. I wanted to be a bit more pin-up looking, especially with the Jessica Rabbit hair I had at the time. So no more surgery? Fillers are semi-permanent. I wouldn’t do anything permanent to my face because once it’s done, it’s done and you’re screwed. Are you being more careful with your beauty regime now? Definitely. I’m getting into loads

front of a big screaming audience. There’s chemistry when we’re all together on stage and I miss that. Will it be a one-off? We’ve not confirmed anything, we’re still talking about it. I’d like to do another album and a tour. You had fillers earlier this year, were they a mistake? Of course, look at the s*** I got
It’s great that Look’s brought
of wicked facials, there’s one called Collagen Wave which helps reproduce collagen.
Finally, what do you make of the Look Beauty make-up range? I love it! Can you not tell? I’ve got it all on! The Double Hit Lip in Red Riot is amazing – it tastes of bubblegum – and my favourite product is Ooomph Lashes.
