arah Harding is all sunglasses, spray tan and lip- glossed smiles when she arrives at Westfield Stratford City,
four hours before making her catwalk debut at The Look Show. It’s two weeks since she split from her DJ fiancé Tom Crane, 31, but there’s no hint of break-up blues. Since Girls Aloud took a hiatus
18 months ago, Sarah, 29, has carved a successful acting career, but regardless of parts in movies like St. Trinian’s, her high spirits seem far from a well-rehearsed act. Her diamond and sapphire
engagement ring is gone but, glance higher, a new copper haircut is making an equally bold statement for the feistiest Girls Alouder. For Sarah, taking to Look’s catwalk is also the realisation of a childhood dream. “When I was younger, I dreamed of being a catwalk model but I was never tall enough and too curvy,” she says, as her make-up is perfected with products from Look’s new beauty range. “Now I’m fulfilling my dream with Look and it feels amazing. I’ll show that you can be shorter and curvier and still rock the catwalk!” And how right she is, as she’s met with rapturous applause after her first circuit on the runway!
