New powers, designed to deter personal data security breaches came into force on 6 April 2010. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) will be able to order organisations to pay up to £500,000 as a penalty for serious breaches of the Data Protection Act!
'The Common Room' located within the Lodge, boasts two large bay windows overlooking the Cathedral and gardens. The room has been redecorated and now offers new quality light oak effect tables and conference chairs designed for extra comfort.
It is more important now than ever before to store, handle and destroy confidential documentation in a secure and responsible way. At Keith Cornell Waste Paper Ltd we are proud to be able to offer a fully accredited secure waste service, by means of the brand new machinery we have recently had installed at our site. Unlike many other secure document destruction companies we don't believe that it is ethical to charge clients exorbitantly for this service and then make money on the resale of the destroyed paper. So with this in mind we are proud to be able to offer the service on a FREE collection fee (subject to minimum quantities) and just £25 for a certificate of destruction issued as often as you would like!

The Common Room can accommodate up to 24 delegates in a boardroom style and during the warmer months, delegates have the extra benefit of being able to enjoy their breaks in the beautiful Campanile gardens.

During the month of October the Lodge is offering conference day delegate rates from only £35; therefore companies can enjoy a full day meeting for 10 delegates and they only pay £350!
In addition to the Common Room, the conference centre houses a 250 seat auditorium with recently upgraded audio visual facilities and the versatile Kentish Barn meeting room enjoys large bay windows with stunning views of the Cathedral.
Christmas party nights and Christmas lunch and dinner bookings are currently being taken, with prices starting from only £19.95 per person, but hurry as there are only a few dates left!
