Day 7: The Tetons, Jackson, and a wildlife museum


Snowcoaches take you from the backcountry interiors of Yellowstone to the park's southern entrance, where you leave your snow vehicles behind and head to Grand Teton National Park and Spring Creek Ranch in the shadows of the towering Tetons. You’ll have an afternoon free to either explore Jackson or stay at the ranch, where the choice of outdoor activity is similar to Yellowstone. The political battle to preserve and protect the Tetons was centered in a Wyoming valley known as Jackson Hole. At its heart was Jackson, a tiny cowboy town that has become quite the draw for the celebrity crowd, where boutiques and art galleries flourish while remnants of the old west live on... and where you'll have free time to explore. our event concludes with a special farewell cocktail reception and dinner at The National Museum of Wildlife Art, whose galleries house thousands of paintings, drawings, and sculpture celebrating Western wildlife – images and objects that illuminate the natural world and humanity’s place in it. There will be a special talk by the Curator of the Murie Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring people to act mindfully on behalf of wild nature.


Day 8: Say farewell to Yellowstone’s


winter wonderland


The Tauck Winter in Yellowstone Event ends in Jackson, Wyoming. Fly home anytime; a transfer from Spring Creek Ranch to Jackson Hole Airport is included; you should allow two hours for flight check-in.
