MISS KITTIN may have been a pole dancer in the past but when the sassy queen of electro-techno returns to London to play an eight-hour set on 3rd September, the dancing will be of a very different kind. And while the idea of spending a night alone with this burlesque punk dame may scare the living life out of some, her appearance behind the decks at a secret warehouse location rammed with pumped-up ravers will no doubt satisfy more than a few with a taste for top notch house and techno.


Since the electroclash heyday, during which her vocals adorned anthems by the likes of Felix Da Housecat, The Hacker and T.Raumschmiere, she has collaborated with game-leaders Sven Väth and Steve Bug and her career as a solo producer has burgeoned. Penning two albums of her own while branching out into Chicago house, dub and electro punk pop during the second half of the noughties, who knows what she will drop during this marathon set as part of Derren Smart’s A Night With series?
