he month of July saw the start of Q-Cells unique solar road show with a Q-Cells branded truck that will serve as a mobile show room for partners and customers. The truck will stop in different locations in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium and France between July and October 2011.

An ever increasing issue for the PV industry is the need to compete with other renewable energy sources. The industry can no longer afford to hope that the public can keep up with conflicting messages and needs to take the message to the people. That is exactly what Q-Cells is doing with their purpose built solar road show truck. Even though the initiative is to help Q-Cells own position, such actions are vital to industry acceptance and awareness.

The Q-Cells truck began its tour on the 4 July 2011, in the Italian town of Gonzaga (Mantova) and will tour Italy before continuing its journey in Germany. Through organising this solar road show, Q-Cells will actively support its customers in selling and installing Q-Cells solar modules. The initiative is an integral part of the new marketing concept of Q-Cells, which aims for the consistent brand positioning in the market.
