ATRONIC SYSTEMS’ MYGUEST AND FLOORMASTER


A


tronic Systems has launched two new products to help casino managers and operators optimise their setups and improve guest relations – FloorMaster™ and myGuest™.


myGuest is an application intended for the casino staff


to use on an iPhone, and it gives floor staff player information, allowing them to reward players and recognize their value to the establishment in real time.


Bruno Ozenda, Director of Product Management and


Architecture, Atronic Systems, explains: “Usually, you have a lot of information about players in the back office if they are signed up to your player tracking system; the idea of myGuest is to give that information directly to the playing floor, right where it’s needed. We chose to use the iPhone because it is small and discreet, you don’t have to show everyone on the floor the information you are looking up.”


The first version of the software is only for iPhone and iPod, but later versions are likely


to branch out to the Android operating system, or Windows tablet PC, but for the moment it’s Apple-oriented. Bruno adds: “The application allows staff to see the number of visits from the player, the average amount wagered, and much more – but depending on the casino’s operation, the operator can limit the amount of information available to different tiers of staff. It can tell the staff about the player in front of them, and their activity from that day, as well as historical data. Have they had a good day, a bad day? What kind of rewards would suit them?”


When it comes to giving a slot player a reward, it’s simply a question of selecting the reward in myGuest, and the player will see the reward on the slot screen, for example, bonus


Bruno explains further: “The idea behind it is simply to make the information easily


accessible to managers, so decisions can be made quickly and easily. The user interface – which makes this application unique – is easy to use on a desktop computer or even on a tablet PC, so the manager can take it on to the floor. FloorMaster is about providing the right information at the right time.”

FloorMaster is an application


designed as a tool for managers to control and positively influence daily activity. In a single view, a manager can see exactly what is happening in the casino in real time. For example, one part of the casino might be busy, and another relatively empty. Using FloorMaster, a floor manager can send a member of staff to


where people are queuing for tables or slots, and they could be directed to another place or game of interest elsewhere in the casino. Off-the-cuff promotions would also be possible – if figures are down, happy hour could be kicked off early, for example, or a new jackpot could be offered to attract people to a specific area.
