RAGYSH TODD TERJE RUNNING BACK

HAVING never heard of Ante Perry before, we weren’t sure what to make of his new album, especially since his name brings to mind a withered relative of Katy Perry. As it turns out though ‘Flashing Disco Sounds II’ (out now on Moonboutique Records), the follow-up to his 2008 debut, is a bit of a gem, CD1 a mix that takes in everyone from FCL’s San Soda and Morning Factory to Ramon Tapia and Osunlade, and CD2 presenting his own

discofi ed productions, including collaborations with Tube & Berger and Kolombo. Equally, you can’t really go wrong with his chart which includes current biggies – such as Art Department’s album highlight ‘We Call Love’ and Oliver $’s ‘Doin’ Ya Thang’ – alongside underground movers and shakers including David August, Solomon and Todd Terje. So that’s the music sorted, all you need now are some fl ashing disco lights to go with it…
