Penrillian‘s primary assets are its people, not just technology. Our clients choose us for our people's skills and experience, but also because we work to create a genuine partnership with all our customers. As a result we have maintained long term relationships with many of our clients, spanning multiple projects.

Our consultant engineers offer years of experience in both the core technology skills applicable to our clients' projects, and in the skills of effective project management. Having worked in a wide range of industries with different demands, such as banking, manufacturing, and healthcare, they also understand the context in which many of our clients' products are being developed. The combination of our consultant engineers' skills, experience and market understanding with a strong client relationship is what gives our projects such a high rate of success.

Our engineers have worked with some of the world's largest and most respected brands both inside and outside the technology sector, including T-Mobile, Vodafone, Symbian, Barclays, and CSFB. The table over the page shows a short summary of some of their core skills on which our clients depend.

BlackBelt AntiTheft allows users to remotely disable their smartphone if it’s lost or stolen, protecting both the phone and its data. BlackBelt customers were clamouring for an Android version. BlackBelt challenged Penrillian to fully use the capabilities of the Android platform while maintaining a familiar user experience, and get it to the Android Marketplace quickly. Using an Agile approach the whole process from brief to deployment took just four weeks. The application hit the market on time, on budget and far in advance of the original spec.

“Penrillian were an obvious partner based on their extensive experience of developing mobile software and their ability to get our Android product to market quickly.”

PETER HARRISON, BLACKBELT
