Course Description This programme is designed to develop computational thinking, including its relevance to everyday life. You will develop skills in modelling and the design of computer-based systems, as well as critical evaluation and testing skills. This programme recognises the professional, economic, social, environmental, moral and ethical issues involved in the sustainable exploitation of computer technology.

Level 6 • Current Trends in Networking • Online Business Systems • Understanding Systems • Database Solutions • Management in IT • Practical Project


Assessments Full-time students will be provided with an assessment calendar at the start of their study. Students will be reminded of an assessment deadline at least 2 weeks in advance of the deadline by their Academic Module Tutor and by their Programme Co-ordinators in person, via the ilearn news forum and/or by email.


Duration of Programme Three years/two years full-time.


Entry Requirements Qualifications equivalent to two UK ‘A’ levels GCSE English and mathematics (or equivalent) English language ability equivalent to IELTS 6.0, where the medium of schooling was not English.
