Valve solution provided by Aquaflow A framework contractor working on behalf of United Utilities contacted TT Pumps’ Aquaflow division to help them solve a problem of four persistently problematic valves which had become costly to maintain. The four

DN800 tilting-disc check valves, manufactured by a nominated framework valve holder, had been installed within a critical pump house which serves the region’s water supply. Aquaflow worked closely with the site representatives and, identified a number of serious installation issues. Following a reappraisal of the hydraulic parameters, Aquaflow supplied four engineered replacement DN600 slanted-seat check valves.
