Have you taken an iOS mobile device seriously when it comes to using one as a DJ tool? This app may just pave the way for pros and amateurs alike. Developers Algoriddim have been in the desktop DJ software game for a while now, so it made sense for them to launch a mobile version of the app. Faithful to the original, you can use any tracks from your iPod library to import on to either of the two decks. This is where the fun begins.


A fully manual mixing program with fully automatable functionality, the automix function is brilliant for both beginners


and hardened experts. You decide whether to auto-sync BPM, how far before the end of one song the next one should begin and the duration of the mix. You can then either sit back and watch the app do the work or play with the three different loop settings (which are very effective by the way).


There’s an added bonus to djay – it will perform a continuous mix of any playlists in your iPod library, meaning you will never again need to hear an unmixed track!
