recipients of the Electrifying Student of the Month for the 2010-2011 school year are honored on page two. The program will start taking student nominations again in August so be sure to keep an eye out for deserving students over the summer. We reorganized the structure of the cooperative in May so that it better reflects the function of each department as well as the size of the organization. Page four reviews these changes in more detail.

Members Plug In, Get Smart and Win Big at Annual Meeting


ri-County Electric’s Chief Executive Officer Jack L. Perkins explained how the cooperative is looking out for you, our members, to a record number of members at the cooperative’s annual meeting of the membership on May 13 at the Texas County Activity Center in Guymon. By count, 682 members came to the meeting. Many of them brought others along and more than 1,200 people were fed free barbecue from Hunny’s. More than 60 members received prizes during the meeting, including smart power strips, gift cards, televisions and more.
