Graz, Austria, is poised for another instalment of its cultural electronic party Springfestival this June…


THERE ARE FEW PLACES in this world more cultural than Graz in Austria. A historic melting pot of architectural wonders and metropolitan chic, it was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in 1999 and is a popular walking ground for culture-savvy tourists the world around. All so well and good – we love a civilised weekend away as much as the next chap – but our main concern is the 11th instalment of Springfestival on 1st - 5th June.


Why? Because the line up is on fi re! Jungle Brothers, Hercules & Love Affair, Caribou, dOP, Carte Blanche (DJ Medhi & Riton), Steve Bug, Jesse Rose, Michael Mayer, Crystal Fighters, Mums of Death (Mumdance & Drums of Death), Noze, Riva Starr and Aeroplane – to name but a few. Aside from the workshops and exhibitions supporting the event, Springfestival is ‘bout nuthin’ but cutting-edge electronic music at it’s very fi nest.
