Looking Back on Our First 10 Years BY MICHAEL MECHAN
If there’s one thing canoeists love more than GORP it has to be tradition. It explains why the prospector remains the most popular model and s’mores are still campfire treats—both more than 85 years old. Another paddling tradition is to gather around a campfire and share stories of trips past. And so with this issue of Canoeroots we invite you to pull up a log, raise a tin cup of whiskey and allow us to share a few canoe stories as we celebrate our 10th anniversary. It has been quite a trip.
