In Duffy’s first stint at Siena, she helped guide the Saints to a share of the regular-season MAAC Championship with an 11-7 overall record – the best record in school history. She recruited Lindsey Rosecrans who went on to set the school’s single-season and career scoring records and earn All-MAAC First Team honors in Duffy’s return season.

In 2004, Duffy began her collegiate coaching career as an assistant at SUNY Oneonta. She helped lead the Red Dragons to a 10-6 overall record while working primarily with the offense and goalies.


Duffy enjoyed a successful playing career at Frostburg State University (Md.) in both lacrosse and soccer. In lacrosse, she started 55 games during her four-year career and served as team captain her senior year. As a junior she led the team with 15 assists and was second

in scoring with 31 goals. As a senior, she was fourth in scoring with 20 goals. Duffy also played in consecutive ECAC Tournaments (2000-01).


Duffy earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Frostburg State in 2003. She is a member of US Lacrosse and the IWLCA Membership Committee where she is a Division I representative who educates coaches on the IWLCA and future events and meetings.

Julia Campbell – Assistant Coach


First Season


Julia Campbell enters her first year as an assistant coach with the Siena women’s lacrosse program. A 2009 graduate of Lees-McRae (N.C.) where she excelled in both lacrosse and soccer, Campbell will assist in all aspects of the program.


“I am looking forward to


having Julia join our staff,” noted Duffy. Julia’s incredible work ethic and determination to be a positive mentor for our student athletes will help us with our goals this season as a staff and a team.”


“I am looking forward to working with Coach Duffy and the rest of the Siena women’s lacrosse team this season as we work towards capturing the MAAC Champion- ship,” said Campbell.


Campbell was a four-time letterwinner for the Bobcats’ women’s lacrosse team and earned two letters in women’s soccer. Campbell, who played collegiately for Duffy, was a team MVP and Coaches Award recipient. During her senior year, she finished in the top-10 nationally at the Division II ranks in ground balls and was in the top-30 in caused turnovers.


A native of Black Mountain, N.C., Campbell earned her degree from Lees-McRae in May 2009 in business and administration with a concentration in marketing and management.
