Collins (stand A90) is supporting educators with the change by publishing resources for the new GCSE science specifications that will help educators. Science, additional science and separate science
components that build on each other can be bought as required, allowing schools to fit resources purchased to meet their individual requirements. All exam boards are covered, with tailored resources for AQA, OCR and Edexcel. The increasing integration of technology throughout
the educative process means practitioners may be seeking an affordable, complete package for their classroom ICT needs. DYMO/Mimio (stand H38) offers the The Mimio Classroom suite, a collection of interactive teaching products. It comprises interactive whiteboard devices, student assessment systems, document cameras, accessories and software solutions designed to seamlessly work together or on their own. With anti-social behaviour still a key concern both
that learning outside has significant benefits in raising standards in schools, increasing attainment and improving the personal social and emotional development of young people. The Outdoor Learning Zone will help exhibitors find new resources and discover the latest learning techniques to motivate pupils and make outside learning fun and inspiring.

improve language provision following the introduction of the English Baccalaureate means that many are looking for ways to step up their language teaching. New exhibitor Vocab Express (stand P53) is an
online modern foreign language (MFL) vocabulary learning application for key stages 3 to 5, preloaded with vocabulary from major exam boards and
within schools and the wider community, charity Stand Against Violence (stand N51) can provide valuable free educational material with a focus on anti-violence awareness and education. The resources, aimed at 14 to 25-year-olds, use a true story of violence with a strong alcohol awareness factor. Ideal for use in secondary schools in subjects such as citizenship and PSHE, the resources have enjoyed success across the UK with an impact on young people including changes in behaviour and attitudes towards violence. In a time of increasing austerity in the sector,
many schools are looking for ways to help loosen the purse strings. Education Fundraiser (stand E62) is a new service to help schools generate a much-needed cash boost from their own creative projects. Bespoke,
low-cost printed products can be created including calendars, greeting cards, yearbooks, recipe books and creative writing anthologies. These can be sold locally to raise money for causes or purchases, while simultaneously encouraging creativity among staff, parents, pupils and students. Debate among educators regarding the direction
for the curriculum is strong, and Fieldwork Education (stand T56) is presenting an option that addresses the international aspects of education. The International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) is an outcome-led international curriculum for 11 to 14-year-olds based on how students learn. It provides a cross-curricular, thematic, rigorous learning and teaching structure designed to engage students of all abilities. It takes into account the need for a smooth
transition from the primary phase into secondary and the intellectual, emotional and social needs of young people as they develop into young adults. These are just a small sample of the 400-plus

For those seeking cost-saving methods of travel to the show, the Group Travel Subsidy, sponsored by BESA, helps with the cost of travelling to the show.
