IT’S BEEN A COUPLE OF YEARS since Abel Ramos dropped ‘Rotterdam With Love’ on Axwell’s Axtone label, but just like the Swede who put it out he’s made short work rising through the DJ ranks, even forming his own DJ super- group, ‘The New Iberican League’, alongside DJ Chus and David Penn. Declared best breakthrough producer of 2009 by Roger Sanchez, an impressive list of achievements since includes signing ‘Fantastic’ and ‘Sound of The Drums’ to Mark Knight’s mighty Toolroom Records,


running his own With Love Music imprint and remixing not one, but two David Guetta, singles. Not only that but none other than Fatboy Slim also gave the nod to an offi cial release of his remix of ‘Right Here Right Now’ on Skint Records. Add to that his weekly ‘With Love Music’ radio show on Spain’s most popular radio station, LocaFM, and a forthcoming tour of Brazil and you it won’t be long before everybody knows the name Abel Ramos.
