Look out for the symbols when making your selection, then you can be sure your choice will be making a difference.

An independently assessed European standard ensuring the product has met strict criteria at every stage of its life cycle to reduce its environmental impact.
This logo ensures that products will meet the European standard for biological degradability. Products carrying this logo can be disposed of as organic waste, without any negative influences on the composting process and the quality of the compost.

Plastic - Symbols in Triangles This symbol indicates that an object is capable of being recycled. This symbol denotes that an object contains a percentage of recycled
material. The percentage shown in the product description indicates how much recyclate has been used.
These identify the type of plastic used in the product and help with separation of plastics for recycling.
