In this current climate, it is an educator’s duty to source low-cost solutions for their school while still providing the best resources possible. In summary, the current challenge is finding ways to learn for less. With learning for less a key theme of BETT’s central feature area, the 2011 show is unmissable.

with just 112 stands at the first event, BETT has evolved to become the world’s largest education in technology show with around 700 exhibitors showcasing the most innovative solutions for schools. For 2011, it is anticipated that nearly 30,000 visitors will attend the show over the four days and with an increasing number of international delegates, BETT truly inspires learning excellence worldwide. BETT 2011 promises its


visitors an engaging experience with both new and returning features and zones. Led by Professor Stephen Heppell, the central feature for 2011, entitled Visual Learning gives hands-on examples of technology being used in education. Students from Lampton School are demonstrating new ways of working and are providing examples of their own projects which have been undertaken using technology (see page 8).
