Links strengthened with Asia IN the weeks leading up to IAAPA Attractions Expo 2010, the trade association announced the appointment of Mario Mamon as third vice-chairman. Mamon, chairman and president of Enchanted Kingdom in the Philippines, is the first attractions industry executive from Asia to be named to the position. He will move through the positions of third, second and first vice-chairman before leading the association as chairman in 2014. “Mario has been an industry leader and a dedicated IAAPA volunteer for many years,” said Mats Wedin, chairman of the IAAPA nominating committee. “We know he will play a key role in moving the association forward in the years ahead.” Mamon will assume the position of third vice-chairman during IAAPA Attractions Expo 2010.
