THE EXPLORER FAMILY- THE REASON THE MAD RIVER RABBIT GOT SO CONFIDENT!

The Explorer embodies the philosophy of Mad River Canoe like no other boat. It’s versatile; you can paddle it tandem or solo, take the family or close to a ton in gear. It’s capable; whether your goal is an afternoon paddle on local waters, a float over a productive fishing hole, a week-end trip running a whitewater river, or a summer- long expedition in the Far North.

You can put your trust in the Explorer. We do ‘cause we build them right. Expedition-caliber hull lay-ups in rotomolded polyethylene, Royalex®, or Kevlar composite finished in a choice of outfitting from the classic warmth of wood to MRC’s patented IQ and IQ2 gunwale systems.
