HELP WANTED Product Manager, Resins


HAI (HAI), a joint venture company between Huttenes Albertus (HA) and Hexion Specialty Chemical Company, serves the North American foundry industry as the largest supplier of products for core/mold production. HAI offers North American foundries the most com- prehensive range of products supported in three market segments: Resin Systems for bonding sand; Resin Coated Sand (RCS) for the shell process; and Refractory Coatings.


The Resins Product Manager will lead the organization with product line contributions for the resins business, from increasing the profitability of the resin product line to developing new products. The Product Manager will work with all areas of the organization to define product release requirements. He/she will work with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping to communicate the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. He/she will also serve as the internal voice for resins, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers. 3+ years of marketing and/or product management experience a plus.

Successful candidate will have knowledge of all aspects of producing investment castings, good decision making skills, managing personnel, and positive leadership. Responsibilities to include manag- ing all employees and departments, making schedules happen, helping where needed, and directing our shop. FOUNDRY MAINTENANCE ENGINEER— Minimum ten years experience in ever increas- ing roles of responsibility in maintenance and facilities management within the metal casting field. In depth experience with Disamatic molding (vertically parted) and coreless induction melting is a must. Demonstrate ability in downtime man- agement and positive performance in increasing uptime and scrap reduction. Must have experi- ence with CMM system, PLC controls, hydraulics and pneumatics. Must be an effective leader and have good communication skills. Must be a positive team player and team builder. Education: Prefer four-year degree in engineering field or industrial management.
