Gerard Wilkinson did postgraduate studies in the US, was a lecturer in a commerce faculty, then marketing manager at Independent Newspapers in Dublin. He moved in 1971 to Kenya, where he was managing director of Nation Newspapers in Nairobi. In 1979 he moved to the Consorzio Costa Smeralda and was responsi- ble for an integrated tourism development in Sardinia, Italy. In 1982 he went on to the head office of the Secretariat de Son Altesse l'Aga Khan at Chantilly, France, where he was head of public affairs. He retired in 2001 and returned to Dalkey, Co Dublin. He remains a direc- tor of the Nation Media Group in Nairobi and is collaborating on two books.

2000 Barry Fung moved to Toronto, Canada a few months ago. He is prepar- ing securities examinations for local investment/bank jobs requirements. He hopes to meet some friends from UCD there as well.


2005 Ken Lyons is group sales manager at The Ritz- Carlton, Powerscourt with responsibility for the North American market. His role sees him travel extensively through the USA and Canada. 2007 Sharmila Tanapathy is a national athlete with the Singapore Bodybuilding Federation (SBBF). She

2007 Jason Ryan completed his PhD in Commerce at UCD in 2007. He and his wife Sari had their second daughter, Amelia Susanna in 2010. She joins older sis- ter, Ceclia Anna. They both teach at the University of Redlands, California.
